Chili Historical Society

Established in 1964, our goal is to learn about, preserve and share the local history. In 1999, CHS moved into Streeter's Inn which was a brick tavern fieldhouse built in 1811 now owned by Monroe County Park Service as a part of Black Creek Park. We are supported by the Town of Chili and your generous donations. Our mission is to educate residents about our history, culture, and Chili's first inhabitants, the Seneca Nation. We offer seasonal activities, speakers and tours of the Inn free of charge. If you make a donation during ROC the Day, you will receive a free 1-year membership to the Chili Historical Society!

We focus on: Education, Arts and Culture

Where we are: Monroe
