Our Mission: Crossroads of Caring is a coalition that cultivates community based spiritual care education and support designed to foster holistic health and wellness.
Our Vision: Crossroads of Caring will become an integral community-based partner for providing spiritual support to all individuals of central and western New York, with particular focus on marginalized populations.
Our Objectives:
* Assist in ongoing pastoral identity formation and the education of spiritual care providers, both volunteer and professional.
* Provide support opportunities to ordained faith leaders through video presentations on spiritual care topics.
* Provide a future workforce for community agencies that can provide spiritual support to meet the needs of their residents/participants/congregants.
* Work toward the development and employment of a cadre of professionally certified Community Healthcare Chaplains.
* Participate in advocacy that supports spiritual care and chaplaincy as a profession.
