The Gathering Place Webster’s purpose is building community to serve community. We exist to create opportunities of human connection, service, and support. Through our own initiatives and partnerships with other community organizations we help address community needs by connecting available resources with human need, feeding the hungry, supporting people and pets marginalized by food insecurity. By organizing community service projects for all ages, both for our own programs and by serving as a liaison with other community organizations, we serve as an “on-ramp” to volunteerism by offering community members an easy way to experience a variety of volunteer opportunities to enable them to find those that are of most interesting to them.
