Gillam-Grant Community Center

Gillam-Grant Community Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1973. Since its inception, the center has provided recreational, educational, and art & cultural opportunities for the community. The diverse programs and services offered target youth, adults, and senior citizens. The mission of Gillam-Grant is to support our rural population’s ever-changing needs and enhance quality of life. Youth are served in several ways at the Community Center. This programming falls in the areas of recreation, education, and the arts. The Center offers before and after school programs, summer day camp, music lessons, and Pre-School programs. It organizes and implements all youth recreation including sports and offers educational programs through The Learning Center at Gillam-Grant. The Learning Center was the first tutoring center in Genesee County providing tutoring, drop-in classes, and STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) programs. Our mission is to provide these services for all youth, with a strong focus on at-risk children. Gillam-Grant offers adults a variety of options such as fitness classes, educational classes, and art classes. Senior Citizens also have a variety of programs and services including senior meals, art classes, cultural opportunities, day and extended trips, lunch club trips, and more. There is something for everyone at Gillam-Grant. It is a unique entity that has served our rural communities for over 50 years.
