THE ALL IN BRASS BAND

The All In Brass Band is a youth-focused music ensemble that emphasizes: Music Education, Entertainment, and Community Impact Music Education The group is open to members from middle school age on up. The members play along side "musical mentors" - many of whom are professional musicians and/or educators. All the mentors are there because of their commitment to creating a fun and encouraging learning and performing environment. It is Multi-generational. Entertainment The "All In" style means the audience is All In too! The group plays music that combines the improvisation and communication of the modern New Orleans brass bands with Rochester's legendary drum corps sizzle. There is nothing like this anywhere. Musical repertoire inspired by Trombone Shorty, Rebirth Brass Band, and Lucky Chops Community Impact The band plays at community events and charities, and brings a fun, upbeat style that promotes a sense of connected-ness with those in attendance. At each event the young members of the group learn about the cause and interact with those impacted. Many of our young members go on to volunteer at other community events. AND we are the hosts of the Honor Flight Brasstacular AND The All In Holiday Sock Drive Concert collecting socks for the Open Door Mission Women and Children's Center. We are dedicated to helping others live a life of dignity, safety, and respect.
